A new update for PLDT Play ServerScout is now available. You will need to download and install ServerScout 0.92 in order to continue playing on the PLDT Play Servers. This new release sports some additional features to support PLDT Play Virtual LAN Integration which allows internet players to host and join games as if they were all in their local internet cafe.

Great news for players who wish to play multiplayer games not nomally supported on PLDT Play or who simply want to host or participate in private clan matches. PLDT Play has the perfect solution for you. PLDT Play VLAN allows players to host or join any multiplayer game with their friends over the internet as if they were all seated beside each other in their favorite internet cafe. Simply boot up PLDT Play VLAN and hop into the same Game Room with the other players then run your game of choice to host or join games under Local Games and you're good to go. You don't even need to forward ports on your router or have your own public ip address to host games.

The Multiplayer Demo for the highly anticipated team-based first person shooter Enemy Territory : Quake Wars is finally up for grabs. The game is set with a backdrop in which an alien race of cyborgs known as the Strogg have launched a massive invasion on the planet Earth. Players must choose a side and either take on the role of one of the alien cyborgs or play as a recruit for the human Global Defense Forces (GDF) who must stop the Stroggs at all cost. To achieve victory, you will not only require lightning reflexes to cope with the furious gameplay but you will also need to keep your wits about you and cooperate heavily with your team mates in order to achieve a series of goals which will allow your to fulfill your mission.

Good news to PLDT Players who want to try out a simple but fun Massive Multiplayer Adventure Game (MMORPG). PLDT Play is now hosting a Stendhal Server.

For those of you who are not familiar with Stendhal, it is a free Java MMORPG which sports a simple and intuitive inerface reminiscent of early console games from the golden age of SNES such as Legend of Zelda and Final Fantasy. Despite its simple graphics and interface Stendhal is a deep and rich game that boasts of a huge and detailed world populated by fantastic monsters and perilous quests. As you play Stendhal, your character will gain experience and amass wealth and equipment that will help him to survive against the countless dangers that confront him.

The game is set in a unique fantasy setting where players must take sides in a war between the Human Legion and the Beast Horde. The game allows commanders from each side to control their troops with an RTS Style interface while FPS fans can make use of their steady aim and quick reflexes to strike down their opponets and ultimately destroy the stronghold or lair of the opposing team.

The new freeware client has been dubbed F.E.A.R. Combat and is now clearly the most immersive and graphically impressive freeware game available ever.
